F U "Bobby" Jindal!

As someone that lives near a few volcanoes, one of which erupted during my lifetime, I'm pissed off at "Bobby" Jindal, Governor of Louisiana for saying that volcano monitoring is not a good way to spend Federal money.

Fuck you, "Bobby" Jindal!

How about we stop spending money on hurricane tracking??

Did yall see his response to President Obama's address?

What a joke!

He talked to us like we're in 1st grade.

If this guy is the new Republican up-and-comer... we got 2012 in the bag.

Uncle Claystation!

I got a call from my sister in Texas today.

She's pregnant!

I'm SO EXCITED! I've been crying off and on all day!

Such wonderful news.

I knew that phone call would be coming... they've been trying for a few months.

I have some major decisions to make during the year. It's going to be very hard for me to be so far away from them... but I don't really want to move... but I don't want to be far away from them.

I guess I have at least 9 months to figure this out.

In the mean time... in my head, I keep saying "Uncle Clay!"

Denver best loved, Seattle 3rd best loved

I've been lucky to live in the number 1 and number 3 favorite cities. Sometimes I'm really torn about where I'd rather live, Denver or Seattle.

I REALLY miss the Denver sunshine. But when I lived in Denver, I REALLY missed rain and water.

When it comes down to it... it all comes down to money. While there are jobs in Denver for me, there aren't near as many as there are in Seattle.

Speaking of number 1, I'm headed to Denver tomorrow. I'm so excited!

I'm so excited to see some old friends.

Seattle Times: Seattle is only No. 3 on favorite-city list?!!!

If we only had a little more sunshine ...

In a national study released today, Seattle placed third on a list of major U.S. cities in which Americans would like to live, topped only by Denver and San Diego.

The study by the Washington, D.C.-based Pew Research Center, is the latest in a long line of surveys, dating back decades, documenting Seattle's allure.

Seattle City Councilwoman Jean Godden, who's seen plenty of these top-city lists as a public official and in her former career as a newspaper columnist, said it's no secret why Seattle consistently ranks high.

"As a service brat growing up I had seen most of the country before I settled down here," said Godden, who touts Seattle's location, scenery, diversity, arts, culture, bookstores, "and its got great people and distinct neighborhoods."
